LUNCH: Attendees and speakers should plan for lunch during session 3-L1 or 3-L2. Lunch will be available from 11 AM - 1 PM.
SDLMI for Gen Ed Teachers; Implementing the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction Self-determination skills contribute to positive adult outcomes. Students can learn self-determination skills simply by setting their own goals, creating plans to attain their goals, and monitoring their progress. In this session we will present the steps to teaching the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI). The SDLMI is a goal attainment process that can easily be integrated into your daily instruction and increase student involvement and accountability in their learning. You will leave the session with the tools to implement the SDLMI.
